BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MINUTES <br /> MARCH 13, 2008. <br /> The Town of Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met on Thursday March 13, 2008 at the <br /> Mooresville Government Center at 6:00 p.m. Present were Chairman, Jon Swisher, Alan <br /> Kramer, Neal Allman and Town Attorney, Tim Currens. Mike Young was absent. <br /> Meeting was called to order by Jon Swisher. Motion was made by Neal.Allman, second by Jon <br /> Swisher to approve the minutes of Decemberl3, 2007. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> On the agenda was Ross Holloway on behalf of Meadow Lake of Mooresville to approve <br /> converting the existing sign to a digital billboard at the intersection of Hwy 67 and Old 67. Mr. <br /> Holloway explained that the messages changed instantly from one scene to the next with no <br /> flashing lights or movements. He also stated that the billboard could be used to announce <br /> community events, such as Old Settlers and can be changed to announce an Amber alert or <br /> terrorist alert instantly. There are only 5 of these types of signs in the state of Indiana which are <br /> INDOT approved for along State Highways and Interstates. Mr. Holloway said Mooresville <br /> would be ahead of its time by having one of these signs. <br /> A motion to approve the sign was made by Neal Allman and second by Alan Kramer. Motion <br /> carried 3-0. <br /> A motion to adjourn was made by Alan Kramer and second by Neal Allman.
