BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br /> MINUTES <br /> MARCH 10, 2011 <br /> The Town Of Mooresville Board Of Zoning Appeals met on March 10. 2011 at the <br /> Mooresville Government Center at 4 E. Harrison Street. <br /> Members present were Chairman Neal Allman, Mike Young and Alan Kramer with <br /> Ann Whaley being absent. Town Attorney Tim Currens was also present. <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairman Allman just past 6: p.m., at this time Mr. <br /> Allman asked for questions or corrections on the minutes from the February 10, 2011 <br /> minutes, a motion came from Mike Young seconded by Alan Kramer to accept the <br /> minutes, the motion carried 3-0 with none opposed. <br /> Pastor Michael Boling of the Shining Light Church returned requesting a variance at 390 <br /> S. Indiana Street,to have their meetings. At the Feb. 2011 meeting there was a question <br /> about being to close to establishment selling liquor. Also a letter from the property owner <br /> was added to the file. Nick Goodman joined Pastor Boling to explain their findings about <br /> the liquor establishment being near, it is not to be any closer than 200 feet from a wall of <br /> a school or church. (IC7.0-3-21-11) they also read the Findings of Facts to assure the <br /> board. They said that the building had been empty for several years and out of repair. <br /> They have done <br /> Several repairs as well having met with the Fire Inspector several times to meet codes. <br /> With no questions from the audience or the board, Chairman Allman read the Findings of <br /> Facts after which a motion was made by Alan Kramer, seconded by Mike Young the <br /> motion carried 3-0 with none opposed. <br /> The next item to discuss was to make a termination of zoning for a Paint Ball Range. <br /> After some discussion, a motion was made by Mike Young stating for an indoor range be <br /> B-2 and B-3 Ag. (Agriculture) and I (Industrial) 1-3 be by special exception. Outdoor <br /> In Flood Plain or Ag. By Special Exception. Alan Kramer seconded the motion. The <br /> motion carried 3-0 with none opposed. <br /> With no more business the meeting was adjourned. <br /> The next meeting will be April 14, 2011 <br /> hairman: <br /> Secretary: J <br />
