0 <br /> Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals <br /> Minutes <br /> Thursday July 12th, 2012 <br /> The Board of Zoning Appeals met in regular session, Thursday July 12th, <br /> 2012 at 6:00pm in the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> In Attendance was; Neal Allman, Ann Whaley and Mike Young. Neal <br /> Allman called the meeting to order. Ann Whaley made a motion to approve <br /> the minutes from the previous meeting, motion passed. Neal Allman <br /> announced the first order of business a variance request at 1 168 E <br /> Greencastle Rd by a Mr. Jones. Tim Currens attorney for the town stated for <br /> the record that he had represented Mr. Jones in other business, but was not <br /> assisting with this request. Mr. Jones is requesting a variance so that he may <br /> run an online /tradeshow sporting good business from his home, this <br /> business will include the sale of firearms and ammunition. Neal Allman <br /> opened the floor to questions. Mr. Jones was asked if he would have <br /> customers visiting the location, Mr. Jones responded no. He was asked if <br /> there would be ammunition on property, yes occasionally. No Further <br /> questions were asked. Mike Young made a motion to pass reminding Mr. <br /> Jones the variance would stay with him not the property, there was to be no <br /> retail sales on the property or no signs. Ann Whaley seconded the motion <br /> with the stipulations, motion passed 3-0. Neal Allman called for any other <br /> business, none was announced. Ann Whaley made a motion to adjourn, <br /> Mike Young seconded, motion carried. <br /> /Ail <br /> Chairman <br /> 4AJ!/ <br />
