TOWN OF MOORESVILLE <br /> PLAN COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY,JUNE 22, 2006 <br /> The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday, June 22,2006, at 6: P.M.at the <br /> Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> Commission members present were: Chairman Mike Young, Charles McGuire,John <br /> Ehrhart, Charles Berwick, Troy Bryant and Robert Corbin. Robert Williamson,Darrell <br /> Brown and Jim Logan were absent. Town attorney Tim Currens was present. <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairman Young, at that time he asked for a motion <br /> on the May 25, 2006 minutes. With no questi.spar corrections, Commissioner Berwick <br /> motioned to approve the minutes as writt :econded by Commissioner Bryant,the <br /> motion carried 6-0 with none opposed. <br /> Ross Holloway presented the site plan for Meadow Lake Lot B,this had been continued <br /> from the May meeting. Mr. Holloway said that the pavement had been marked for the <br /> entrance and the tapers. After some discussion about the entrances being close and traffic. <br /> Mr. Holloway explained that with the turn lanes and blisters added there should never be <br /> a back up, such as the Bridge St. traffic. Indianapolis Road should never be backed up <br /> because of this entrance. Mr. Holloway said that he had been to this site , and it is his <br /> opinion that the entrance should be moved 50 feet to the east, for safety reasons. With no <br /> further questions Commissioner Mc Guire motioned to approve the plan with the 50 foot <br /> move to the east, seconded by Commissioner Bryant motion carried 6-0 with none <br /> opposed. <br /> Ross Holloway presented a preliminary proposal for the development of the Jessup <br /> property east of Grandview and south of Hadley Road. The project is 90 acres and they <br /> would be requesting annexation to the Town Of Mooresville. It would be under <br /> Mooresville utilities, Indiana American Water and Mooresville Storm Water permitting <br /> and ordinance. Mr. Holloway said the density should be around 2.3 units per area,which <br /> would be lower than we have seen in awhile. The project would have two sections to this <br /> development,the first being single family development with 160 lots. The lots would be <br /> 16,000 square feet with 90 foot width. Each dwelling would have a two car attached <br /> garage and would have 1800 square feet of living space. Each home would be built on a <br /> crawl space or basement. The exterior will be no less the 80 %masonry,with remainder <br /> being stucco, wood, cement siding board or equivalent. Minimum roof pitch 8/12.Vinyl <br /> or aluminum siding would be prohibited. Mr. Holloway is looking into a insulated foam <br /> backed siding. The second section would be 40 units of attached sin o family homes <br /> with a fire wall between them. These would be like doubles with*ception that each <br /> owner would own their half lot. Each would be 8,000 square feet with either a one or two <br /> • car attached garage.
