Patsy Coffee being a realator felt that the Mooresville area needed high end homes, that <br /> buyers are going elsewhere to buy. <br /> Chairman Young asked for a motion on this matter. Commissioner Ehrhart motioned to <br /> a negative recommendation to the Town Council, the motion was seconded by <br /> Commissioner Brown. The motion to give the negative recommendation to The Town <br /> Council was passed 7-0 with none opposed. <br /> The next item on the agenda was Holloway Engineering for Arvin Hopkins asking for a <br /> Minor Plat Amended.on Bridge Street. The amendment would add 50 feet to Lot 3, <br /> where the car wash has been built and creating lot 4.There were concerns about the <br /> access road and traffic on Bridge Street. Chairman asked if Mr. Holloway knew what <br /> would be going in on these lots. Mr. Holloway's answer was he was not sure,but it <br /> would not be retail. After more discussion on the access road and soil testing, a motion to <br /> approve the amendment with Lot 4 entry being to the access road and the access road <br /> being across from Harlan Drive,by Commissioner Brown the second came from <br /> Commissioner Ehrhart. The vote was 4 to 3, needing a quorum vote the motion did not <br /> pass. Mr. Holloway will return for the February meeting. No new notices need to be sent. <br /> The third item was also brought before the Board by Holloway Engineering. Jeff Haught <br /> asking for a 4-Lot Minor Plat at Pennington and Orchard Roads. After explaining the Plat <br /> of an existing home and the other three lots.Mr. Holloway had Morgan county Drainage <br /> Board report as will as Stanley Soil Service, Inc report. There could be two septic <br /> systems on each lot. Commissioner Berwick asked if it would be a private road to these <br /> lots. Mr. Holloway said, yes there is a 25 foot strip along lots 2,3 and 4 and will be <br /> maintained by the owners of these lots on a share and share alike basis. Bob Stout of <br /> 4452 E Shadey Lane spoke of his concerns of drainage.Mr. Holloway said that they had <br /> meet the County requirements. With no other questions Chairman Young asked for a <br /> motion on this Flat. A motion to approve the Minor Plat was made by Commissioner <br /> Corbin and seconded by Commissioner Brown, the motion carried 6-0. <br /> The last item to be heard was PUD Plat Approval and Rezone of White Lick Business <br /> Suites and Pebble Plaza. Kevin Allen of Encompass Engineering presented this matter to <br /> the Commission for the owner Martin James. This action would allow each suite to be <br /> sold to individual owners. There would be no changes to the existing suites. It is currently <br /> zoned B-3. After some discussion on why a PUD-E, Owners Association, what kind of <br /> business and water billing. After more discussion a motion was made by Commissioner <br /> Erhart to table this mater until the February meeting with no new notices, the second was <br /> made by Commissioner Williams. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> Reorganization was done at this time. A motion was made by Commissioner Ehrhart to <br /> elect Chairman Young to the Chair for 2006,motion second was by Commissioner <br /> Brown. The motion carried 5-0. Chairman Young nominated Commissioner Ehrhart for <br /> the Vice- Chairman, Commissioner seconded the nomination,motion carried 5-0 and last <br />
