S <br /> MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> MAY 28, 2009 <br /> MINUTES <br /> The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session on Thursday May 28, 2009, at <br /> 6: P.M. the meeting was held in the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Members present were, Chairman Mike Young, Ann Whaley, Darrell Brown, Charles <br /> Berwick, Perry King and Jeff Dieterlen. Town attorney Tim Currens was also present. <br /> The meeting was called order by Chairman Young, at this time he asked for question or <br /> correction on the minutes from the April 23, 2009 meeting. There were three spelling <br /> corrections to be made and with no further corrections a motion by Commissioner <br /> Berwick to accept the minutes with the second coming from Commissioner Whaley, the <br /> motion carried with none opposed. <br /> The first item for consideration was Holloway Engineering for approval on the site <br /> change of the Indy Tractor, the subject was the termination of the road just past Indy <br /> tractor for economical reason. The road will be completed upon sale of lot 1 or 3. there <br /> was some discussion and it was also said that there will be a fire wall between the <br /> service dept. and the retail dept in the Indy Tractor building. <br /> Commissioner Whaley made a motion to accept the site plan change with a second <br /> coming from Commissioner King the motion carried 6-0 with none opposed. <br /> At this time Kip Miller of 2317 E. Crosby Road, came in to ask for help with a business <br /> being run at 2315 Crosby Road. Mr. Miller said that the drive is shared by 4 residences <br /> and that the upkeep of the drive is shared by the four home owners. Mr. Miller continued <br /> by saying that Mr. Michael Swan started out in 2005 just working on cars but now there <br /> are 4 to 8 cars going back there in a day as well U.P.S., Fed-X and Speedway Auto Parts. <br /> Mr. Miller said that he had called Speedway Auto Parts and asked if they would deliver <br /> to his home , the answer was that they only deliver to a business. <br /> The business is Fabrication and welding. Mr. Miller also that with on rest room in the <br /> barn where the business is operating, that the men will go out side to urinate. He asked <br /> the board if he could a private drive sign could be put up or what can they do to enforce <br /> the issue. Mr. Currens said that this would be a civil matter. Mr. Currens also that the <br /> Plan Commission could investigate the zoning issue. Chairman Young said he would <br /> pass the information to Joe Beikman <br />
