0 <br /> MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> APRIL 23, 2009 <br /> MINUTES <br /> The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session on Thursday April 23, 2009, <br /> At 6:00 P.M. The meeting was held in the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Members present were, Chairman Mike Young, Jeff Dieterlen,Ann Whaley, Charles <br /> Berwick, Brian Anderson and Darrell Brown. Absent were Perry King and Robert <br /> Williamson. Town Attorney Tim Curs was also present. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6:15 by Chairman Young, at this time he ask for <br /> questions or corrections on the minutes from the March 23, 2009, with no questions or <br /> correction a motion by Commissioner Berwick to accept the minutes with the second <br /> coming from Commissioner Whaley, the motion carried with none opposed. <br /> John Larrison, for Holloway Engineering on the Indy Tractor Project. Mr. Larrison was <br /> here to discuss developing this project in phases. The first phase would be the Indy <br /> Tractor site, as well as the road way, all of the utilities and the proposed pond. Mr. <br /> Larrison said that they would like to t-iininate the road way just past the second entrance <br /> of Indy Tractor. Mr. Larrison stated, they were asking for the phasing for this project for <br /> the reason of making this project an economical project. They have made several changes <br /> to limit construction cost. The ground is very rolling which will make very high <br /> construction cost. They do not feel they will have any buyers for lots 1 or 3 in the near <br /> future. Mr. Larrison said that this time they asking for approval to break down this <br /> project into phases. Chairman Young asked if they get approval would they then do the <br /> drainage calculations and construction plans. He said that yes they would, at that time <br /> they would go before the Technical Review Committee and back to the Plan <br /> Commission. Commissioner Dieterlen ask if they would see some substantial changes on <br /> what has been presented here. Mr. Larrisons answer was that there are a couple changes <br /> on this document but he said they are not submitting that drawing as a site plan. MR. <br /> Currans stated that when a plat that is done in phases requires some kind of bonding to <br /> address the phasing. Commissioner Dieterlen asked if lot one could provided access with <br /> a drive with out any additional improvements. Mr. Larrison said that is not theira/ <br /> intention, the intention is to extend the road at the sell of lot 1 or lot 3. Tim Currans <br /> asked what the status of the road way. TO and Don Adams have said they will give <br /> $25,000.00 each toward the road. Mr. Curr s also said that they need to make sure the <br /> Redevelopment Commission is still on board because of the road not going all the way <br /> through.
