Member Perry King made a motion to approve the replat. Member Brian Anderson <br /> • seconded the motion. It passed 7-0. <br /> The fourth item was from Rick and Cindy Grubbs concerning property at 10007 Bethel <br /> Road. Rick Grubbs introduced himself and his wife, Cindy Grubbs. The couple has an <br /> issue with property across the street from their home. Mr. Grubbs said the property is <br /> owned by Flagstaff Business Park. He did research at the Morgan County Courthouse <br /> that said the land is owned by Robert Plumber of New Palestine, IN. Town attorney Tim <br /> Currens told Mr. Grubbs to clarify that the Plan Commission only has authority when a <br /> zoning violation is being made. He said if the members decided to investigate the <br /> building inspector will go out and look at the property. Mr. Grubbs said he believes that <br /> there are zoning violations. Member Beverly Viles made a motion to have the town's <br /> inspector go out and investigate the situation. Member Charles Berwick seconded the <br /> motion. It passed 7-0. <br /> There were 11 permits and 35 inspections. There was also a complaint about 103 W. <br /> South St. <br /> Resident Mark Overting, 134 E. Washington St., learned that there will be an impound lot <br /> going in behind his house. He wanted to make sure that all the zoning laws were followed <br /> if this were to happen. <br /> Resident Jeff Thurman, 122 E. Washington St., said he is also concerned about the traffic <br /> an impound lot would bring to the area. <br /> Town attorney said the matter is being looked into and that any zoning laws would be <br /> followed. <br /> Member Brian Anderson made a motion to adjourn. Member Darrell Brown seconded the <br /> motion. The motion was passed 7-0. <br /> The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. April 22, 2010, in the Mooresville Government <br /> Center.
