Member Perry King made a motion to approve the replat. Member Brian Anderson
• seconded the motion. It passed 7-0.
The fourth item was from Rick and Cindy Grubbs concerning property at 10007 Bethel
Road. Rick Grubbs introduced himself and his wife, Cindy Grubbs. The couple has an
issue with property across the street from their home. Mr. Grubbs said the property is
owned by Flagstaff Business Park. He did research at the Morgan County Courthouse
that said the land is owned by Robert Plumber of New Palestine, IN. Town attorney Tim
Currens told Mr. Grubbs to clarify that the Plan Commission only has authority when a
zoning violation is being made. He said if the members decided to investigate the
building inspector will go out and look at the property. Mr. Grubbs said he believes that
there are zoning violations. Member Beverly Viles made a motion to have the town's
inspector go out and investigate the situation. Member Charles Berwick seconded the
motion. It passed 7-0.
There were 11 permits and 35 inspections. There was also a complaint about 103 W.
South St.
Resident Mark Overting, 134 E. Washington St., learned that there will be an impound lot
going in behind his house. He wanted to make sure that all the zoning laws were followed
if this were to happen.
Resident Jeff Thurman, 122 E. Washington St., said he is also concerned about the traffic
an impound lot would bring to the area.
Town attorney said the matter is being looked into and that any zoning laws would be
followed.
Member Brian Anderson made a motion to adjourn. Member Darrell Brown seconded the
motion. The motion was passed 7-0.
The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. April 22, 2010, in the Mooresville Government
Center. (There was not business before the commission on April 22 so no meeting was
held.)
The next meeting will be at 6 p.1 . May ∎10, in the Mooresville Government Center.
/ two
. airman
Secretary
