I have them attached and in this mail. <br /> MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> MARCH 24, 2011 <br /> Minutes <br /> The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session March 24, 2011, at 6 p.m. The <br /> meeting was held at the Mooresville Government Center. Members of the commission present <br /> were: <br /> Chairman Mike Young, Charles Berwick, Perry King, Bev Viles, Darrell Brown, Bill Colbert, <br /> Jeff Dieterlen, and Ann Whaley. Town attorney Tim Currens was also present. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6 p.m. Bev Viles made a motion to accept the minutes. <br /> Bill Colbert seconded the motion and it was passed 8-0. <br /> he first item on the agenda was a minor plat. John Larrison of Holloway Associates <br /> ought the item before the commission. The request was to divide a piece of property at <br /> tate Road 267 and North Monroe Street into two parcels to make it easier to sell by the <br /> owners. The item was brought before the commission during the February 24, 2011, meeting <br /> and was tabled pending more work. <br /> Commission members had questions about the sanitary sewer and access to the property. As <br /> discussion continued it was suggested that when the property was split it should be noted <br /> that if there are any issues with the sewer it be stipulated that each owner have to pay <br /> for 50 percent of the repair. After more discussion Jeff Dieterlen made a motion to table <br /> the issue until ownership of the sanitary sewer is resolved. He wanted to know where the <br /> sewer line connects with the town before voting on the issue. Ann Whaley seconded the <br /> motion and the issue tabled once again. The motion passed 8-0. <br /> The second item on the agenda was a rezone. William Bryant is hoping to open an automobile <br /> repair facility on his property that is currently residential. The commission said that <br /> the item needed to be heard by the Board of Zoning Appeals and that it would need to be <br /> re-advertised accordingly. They suggested he ask for a B-3 by special exception. They did <br /> however decide that the new purpose would not adversely affect the area. Bev Viles made a <br /> motion that the change would not adversely affect the area. Darrell Brown seconded the <br /> motion and it was passed 8-0. The issue was then sent to he BZA. <br /> John Larrrison of Holloway then represented Paul and Nina Langley on a minor plat change. <br /> The Langley's were asking to have their five-acre property on Rooker road to be split into <br /> two nearly equal parts. They wish to sell their house and build a new one on the proposed <br /> Lot 2. They would have access by a stone drive. There would be no new cut in road. The <br /> project had already been reviewed in a technical board meeting. Bill Colbert made a motion <br /> to approve the change. Beverly Viles seconded the motion. It was passed 8-0. <br /> There was a public hearing on the increase of fees which is found in Chapter 11 of the <br /> 0 awn Zoning Ordinance. It was a clarification on the fee schedule. Ann Whaley moved to <br /> prove the revisions, <br /> _arrell Brown seconded the motion and it was passed 8-0. <br /> There was then more discussion on creating a standard violation schedule and modifying the <br /> zoning ordinance. It was suggested by counsel that it be changed to more than $10 and less <br /> than $1, 000 per violation. Bev Viles said she wanted more time to study the suggested <br /> changes before making a decision. Jeff Dieterlen made a motion to table the discussion to <br /> 1 <br />
