with his son. Mr. Thompson advised that they intended to build a <br />garage on the premises which is located at Rose Lane and Crestwood <br />Drive. He advised that there was no other place to put the <br /> <br />garage and that the lot was so small <br />could not be met, however, that this <br />of the other lots in the subdivision. <br /> <br />that the development standards <br />lot was no smaller than any <br /> <br /> The chair entertained comments <br /> <br />from the floor. Mitzie Forbes who lives on Rose Lane advised that <br />this would help get some of the cars off of the street a~d actually <br />improve the conditions in the area greatly. There being no further <br />comments the board proceeded to findings of fact from the development <br /> <br />standards. <br /> (1) The Board found that the approval would not be injurious <br /> <br /> to the public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the <br /> <br />community and in fact should assist <br />helping the traffic flow. <br /> <br /> (2) That the use and value of <br /> <br />the well being of the area by <br /> <br />the area adjacent to the <br /> <br /> property included in the variance would not be affected in a <br /> substantially adverse manner in that this use was consistent with <br /> other structures in the area and should only improve values. <br /> <br /> (3) That the strict application of the terms of the zoning <br /> ordinance would result in practical difficulties in the use of the <br /> property in that additional structures that would help property <br /> values could not be placed without such a variance. <br /> <br /> The Board then unanimously approved the findings of fact and <br /> <br />a motion was made by Warren Franklin, seconded by Tilford Bailey <br />to grant the variance. This carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> The next item to come before the board was the zoning variance <br />request by Keith Hill and Lon Milburn on the property located at <br />1119 North Indiana Street. The request was for a variance for the <br /> <br /> --6-- <br /> <br /> <br />
