MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met at its regularly scheduled
meeting the 21st day of August, 1985 at the Mooresville Town Hall. Present were
Board Members Steve Oschman, Paul Walters, Wendell Thaler, Tilford Bailey, and
Warren Franklin. The Board's Attorney, Timothy C. Currens, was also present.
Chairman Oschman determined that there was a quorum present and opened the meeting.
Minutes of the prior meeting were approved as read.

The first item to come before the Board was the execution of the
resolution of the Board regarding Docket No. 5-1985 filed by Steven A. and Cheryl
L. Edwards and Donald M. and Bobbie S. Barry. In particular the resolution set
out the terms of the variance granted at a prior meeting, on June 19, 1985.
The resolution was then adopted the 21st day of August, 1985 upon motion duly
made and unanimously carried.

The next item to come before the Board was Hosten Bible's request for

a variance of set-back requirements. Attorney Sam Korn advised the Board that
he would like to continue this matter an additional month. The Board's Attorney
stated that it would be proper to send out new letters of notice, uncertified, prior
to the meeting to make sure any interested parties had notice. The Board then
granted the continuance and requested that the notices be sent out.

The next item to come before the Board was the petition filed by Richard L.
England and Stephane A. England of 67 E. Main Street, Mooresville, Indiana, requesting
a variance to operate a telephone sales repair shop out of their garage and for a
sign advertising this. Mr. England stated that he repairs and installs telephone
systems and this would be a light business to be run out of the home. He advised
that PBX Sales and Telephone Interconnect would be his primary operation and that
the traffic it would create would be almost non-existent. He also requested a 2 foot
sign. The Board had a question regarding the sign and set-backs along with Wendell
