He stated there had been two severe auto accidents in the past six
months and also that children were in the area along with school buses. He
also had a question regarding the sign used by Mr. Sterrett. Mr. Sterrett stated
he had taken the sign down and it would not be lighted. Chairman Oschman had a
question regarding traffic and danger of cars backing out of the drive on to
State Road 144. Mr. Hamm stated that children were crossing in the area with
cars coming from over the knoll of the hill, lastly he stated that the neigh-
borhood had restrictive covenants against a business. Attorney
Korn also advised that the restrictive covenants could be waived if sixty
percent of the subdivision waived them in writing. Lastly, he stated that they
did not have to back out on the highway since there was sufficient room to
turn around. Mr. Sterrett did advise that he was generally opened from 9:30
a.m. and closed by 6:00 p.m.

The next person to speak was Chester Enlow who owns the home at 20 Middle
Lane. Mr. Enlow stated that he was concerned by the number of accidents between
Johnson Road and this area on State Road 144. He suggested that the Board get
a survey of the accidents from the local police. He also stated that this is
a school zone with many experienced and inexperienced drivers in the area. He
felt that safety was an issue here. Next he stated that he was a licensed real
estate broker and felt that the business would hurt property values. He
purchased the property 20 years ago because it was quiet residential area. At

-4-
