The next item to come before the Board was a petition filed by Thurmond <br />Jacobs under Variance No. 13-1984 at 331 West M~in Street, affecting Lots 8,9 and <br />10 in Scott's Subdivision. His request was for a use variance to allow multi- <br />family dwelling on both Lots 9 and 10 and a double on Lot 8. The current zoning <br />was A-Residential. In particular it was determined that he was requesting front <br />set-back reduction from the development standards from 40 feet to 35 feet on Lots <br />9 and 10 amd side from 60 foot to 32 foot. Along with a variance on the lot size <br />for B-Multi-family on Lot 8 and on Lot 9 and 10 the use of Multi-family. Paul <br />Walters made a finding that the development and use standards were met and made <br />a motion to grant a variance from the set-back and lot size and use of Lot 8 from <br />residential to B-Multi-family for a double on Lot 8 and the use of a double on <br />Lots 9 and 10. Warren Franklin seconded and the vote was unanimous. <br /> <br /> The next item to come before the Board was a petition for variance filed <br />by Hostem Bible under No. 8-1984 on the property located at 19 W. Main Street, <br />Mooresville, Indiana. Notices were found to be in order and Sam Korn proceeded <br />representing Mr. Bible and his wife Elizabeth Ann Bible. Mr. Korn advised that <br />they were requesting a use variance from the side and front set-backs from 10 <br />feet on the side to 0 and from 60 feet in front to 0. They advised that this <br />was consistent to all other other set backs on the block and that the adjoining <br />property o~ers had no problem with this. There were no remonstrators present. <br />Tilford Bailey made a motion to grant the variance after finding that the <br />development use standards could be met. In particular the motion stated that the <br />side set-backs would be granted from 10 feet to 0 feet and the front set-backs <br />from 60 feet to 0 feet. This was seconded by Wendell Thaler and unanimously <br />carried. <br /> <br /> The next variance to come before the Board was one filed by Richard Martin <br />of 200 Church Street requesting a variance from the development standards on the <br />rear yard set-back to allow the erection of a 24 foot by 24 foot detached garage. <br />Notices were found to be in order.
