As we discussed July 17, substantive
and procedural defects should delay consideration of the
"variance" by the Board of Zoning Appeals until those defects
are removed and the petition is properly refiled.

Attorney Douglas Meyer of Plainfield, Indiana has
tentatively accepted representation of my grandparents in this
matter.

I have forwarded to him the materials you provided, and
he will be handling any appearances before the Board or the
Plan Commission.

Thanks again for all your help. Please give my best wishes
to your partner. I am looking forward to meeting with you and
discussing the weighty issues of advisory zoning and representation
of municipal corporations in Indiana during one of my next visits
to Mooresville.

Ve~uly yours,
J~ck~,~egg Haught
TOI~FE~, ALLOWAY, GOODMAN,
DeLEONE & DUFFEY

JGH:cjc

cc: Douglas Meyer, Esq.
Mr. Oral C.
