'1128 <br /> February 18,2014 <br /> Town Council members met in Executive Session on Tuesday, February 18,2014, at 5:30 <br /> P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> The purpose of the Executive Session was to discuss: Strategy with respect to initiation <br /> of litigation or litigation that is either pending or has been threatened specifically in <br /> writing. Perry, Clerk-Treasurer <br /> — – February 18,2014 <br /> The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, February 18,2014, at <br /> 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br /> Council members present were: President Mark Mathis,Vice-President Virginia Perry, <br /> Tony Langley, George Watkins, and Jeff Cook. No members were absent. Attorney Tim <br /> Currens was present. <br /> Randy Weddle, Community Church, gave the prayer. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilwoman Perry to <br /> approve minutes for 1-21-14 Executive session and Feb. 4,2014 meeting. Motion carried <br /> 5-0. — <br /> Brent Callahan, Park Superintendent, was out of town but sent quotes for a new tractor. <br /> The Park's 2004 tractor needs a lot of repair. They are getting$5,000 trade-in with this <br /> tractor on a new John Deere 1600 tractor priced at $44,676.00 paid for out of their non- <br /> reverting capital fund. A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by <br /> Councilman Cook to approve this expenditure. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Legal: Attorney Currens reported a price needed to be given for Indiana American Water <br /> Company Purchase for the Court. A motion was made by Councilman Langley with a <br /> second by Councilman Watkins to offer$7,300,000.00, an appraisal received from <br /> American Appraisals for purchase of the water company. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Legal: Attorney Currens gave the council a policy for request of public records to look <br /> over for the next meeting. <br /> A motion was made by Councilman Watkins with a second by Councilman Langley to <br /> approve payment of claims in the amount of$316,041.58. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion was <br /> made by Councilman Cook with a second by Councilman Watkins to adjourn the <br /> meeting. Motion carried 5-0. — <br /> The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be March 4, <br /> 2014, at 6:30 P.
