advised that the legal notices were in order and Attorney Sam Korn presented the
petition for the Taylors. It was pointed out that the purpose of the request was
for the construction of a garage and the request itself was from a variance from
the development standards on the side setback from 12 feet to 4 feet and the rear
setback from 40 feet to 16 feet. It was pointed out by Mr. Korn that other garages
in the area had similar setbacks and a drawing was presented. The Board questioned
the petitioner and his attorney. After a brief discussion the Board found that the
variance from the development standards requirements had been met, pursuant to
Indiana Code 36-7-4-918.5. Chairman Oschman then opened up the meeting for a
motion. Tilford Bailey made a motion that the variance from the development
standards from a side setbaek of 12 feet to 4 feet and from a rear setback
of 40 feet to 16 foot be granted. This was seconded by Paul Walters and
unanimously carried by all members.

There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was
duly adjourned by motion made, seconded and unanimously carried.

Warren Frdnkli~,, Sde~etar~

-6-
