BEFORE THE MOORESVILLE TOWN COUNCIL: ORDINANCE NO. z~/'1'Jf - AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TARGET AREA WHEREAS, the Mooresville Economic Development Commission has made favorable recommendation following its meeting January 20, 1998 that certain real estate owned by Kenneth L. Fisher, Fred L. Fisher, Jack L. Perry and Mooresville Ace Hardware, Inc., be designated as an economic development target area, and, WHEREAS, the Mooresville Town Council finds that the below described real estate has become undesirable or impossible for normal development and occupancy because of a lack of development, cessation of growth, and other factors that have impaired values or prevented normal development of property or the use of the property, all pursuant to Indiana Code 6-1.1-12.1-7(a)(1) and that less than 15% of the total geographic territory of the Town of Mooresville has been designated to be in an economic development target area; IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Mooresville that the following described real estate shall hereby be designated as an economic development target area pursuant to the above statute, and to provide the findings necessary for an application of I.C. 6-1.1-12.1-3(e)(10)(C) providing for real property tax deductions: Part of the Southwest quarter of Section 36, Township 14 North, Range 1 East of the Second Principal Meridian, Morgan County, Indiana, bounded and described as follows, to-wit: Beginning on the South line of Section 36, Township and Range aforesaid, and 173.0 feet East of the centerline of Old State Road #67 extended (said point on the centerline of Old State Road #67 extended is 2290.0 feet South of the South line of a 20.0 foot alley on the South side of Moore's Fourth Addition to the Town of Mooresville); run thence Easterly of the South line of Section 36 a
