I . B. No sign shall be permitted which prevents the driver of a vehicle from having a clear and unobstructed view from an adequate and safe distance, of any official sign and approaching or merging traffic. C. No sign or sign structure shall be located in such a manner as to materially impede the view of any street or highway intersection or in such a manners as to materially impede the view of the intersection of a street or highway with a railroad crossing. D. Prohibition of signs affixed to utility poles. No sign or sign structure shall be affixed to, displayed or located upon any utility pole, light standard, tree, public transportation shelter, traffic control devise or similar structure, equipment, or appurtenance located upon any public right-of-way, utility easement or other public or private property unless authorized by authority of the Town Council. E. No advertisements or material of any kind shall be permitted on utility poles, standards, globes and fixtures or any part of any standard or pole, owned by utility company and in the public right-of-way except such as may be in the opinion of the Town of Mooresvil1e necessary for safety and traffic control. SECTION II ImDroper Construction to be Removed by the Town. When there is a violation of any of the above Sections of this Ordinance the Town, through its employees or as directed by the Street Department Superintendent or Town Marshall's Office shall have the right to remove any signage on any utility pole or public structure within the Town right-of-way including utility poles or other poles erected by the a Town.
