petition for variance requested by Walter Hadley and Minnie J. Hadley to allow <br />the use of their home to assemble the bunk beds and other hobby wood projects <br />pursuant to the Town's customary home occupation provision within the zoning <br />ordinance with the restrictions that there would be no sign advertising the <br />business, no advertising in the n~wspaper for the business, that there be <br />no external evidence of the occupation, that there is no commodity or service <br />sold upon the premises except that which is produced thereon, that there be <br />no traffic congestion or traffic hazard created by the home occupation, only <br />occupant or members of his or her family would be employed, that there would <br />be no external changes, additions, enlargements or exterior alterations relating <br />in any way to the home occupation, that there be no physical expansion of utilities <br />or con~nunity facilities beyond the normal residential and that said home occupation <br />would be terminated upon the transfer of the property to any person other than <br />a member of the immediate family residing on the property. This motion was <br />seconded by Paul Walters and Wendell Thaler, Paul Walters, and Board Chairman <br />Oschman voted favorably for the same. That Board Members Franklin, Kollmeyer <br />and House abstained. There not being a quorum the motion did not carry. Board <br />Member House then made a motion to deny the variance as requested. This motion <br />died for lack of a second. At this time Board Attorney Currens advised the <br />parties that this would have to be tabled for lack of a majority decision <br />on the issue and it could be brought back up on October 19, 1983 for review. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting <br /> <br />was adjourned. <br /> <br />~~~tary <br /> <br />Steve Oschman, Chairman <br /> <br /> <br />
