..... ~ ORDINANCE NO. 3 , 1988 ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE INDIANA FIRE PREVENTION CODE WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority of the Town Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresville to establish reasonable regulations for the protection of the lives, health, and property of the citizens of the Town of Mooresville and to enforce compliance with such regulations; BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of Mooresvi1le, Morgan County, Indiana; SECTION I That the Civil Town of Mooresville hereby adopts and incorporates by reference the Indiana Fire Prevention Code (675 I,A.C. 22-2), 1985 Edition, and all amendments thereto and references cited within said code. SECTION II (I) That the Fire Chief and those deputies designated by the Fire Chlef of the Civil Town of Mooresville are hereby authorized and empowered to enforce the above adopted fire code on behalf of the Civil Town of Mooresville within the jurisdiction of the Civil Town of Mooresville. (2) That the Fire Chief and those designated deputies for the Civil Town of Mooresville are hereby authorized to enter upon property located within the Town of Mooresville, that is not a residential structure, and inspect said property and in any and all improvements thereon for the purpose of enforcin~ said fire code. SECTION III All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and Ordinance No. 13, 1968 specifically is hereby repealed. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and due publication. The foregoing Ordinance adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Civil Town of }fuoresville, Morgan County, Indiana this 16th day of February, 1988. l
