~ ~ 1977 ORDINANCE NO, AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A STOP INTERSECTION AT THE INTERSECTION OF OLD STATE ROAD #67 AND INDIANAPOLIS ROAD FOR MOTOR VEHICLE TRAFFIC EXITING FROM OLD STATE ROAD #67 NORTH ON TO INDIANAPOLIS ROAD IN THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, MORGAN COUNTY, INDIANA Morgan County, Indiana, that BE IT ORDAINED, by the Trustees of the Town of Mooresville, --- WHEREAS, there is situated in the Town of Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, a road commonly known as Old State Road #67, which road runs in a general northeast and southwest direction in the Town of Mooresville¡ and WHEREAS, there is situated in the Town of Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, a street known as Indianapolis Road, which road runs in a general north and south direction in the said Town of Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana, and WHEREAS, said Old State Road #67 intersects with Indiana- polis Road forming an intersection where the flow of traffic may proceed in either a northerly or southerly direction; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Mooresville, Indiana, now finds that it is to the best interest of the public health, welfare and safety, that an ordinance be adopted, establish- ing that at the intersection of said Old State Road #67 and Indiana- polis Road, wherein motor vehicular traffic turning north on to Indianapolis Road from Old State Road #67, shall be required to come to a complete stop before proceeding in a northerly direction into Indianapolis Road, thereby mëking Indianapolis Road a preferential street; and WHEREAS, the said Board of Trustees of the Town of Moores- ville, Morgan County, Indiana, now finds that an emergency does exist;
