Plan Commission Minutes <br /> Thursday July 24th, 2014 <br /> Members Present: Mike Young, Jef Dieterlen, Bill Colbert, Perry King, Brian <br /> Anderson and new member Virginia Perry. <br /> Mike Young called the meeting to order and welcomed new member Virginia <br /> Peny to the Plan Commission. <br /> Mike Young called for a motion on the previous meetings minutes, a motion was <br /> made, seconded, and previous minutes were approved. <br /> Mike Young stated that reorganization would be moved to the end of the meeting. <br /> First item to be presented, by Holloway Engineering is the final approval on Town <br /> Center Ill. This has been years in the making, originally filed in 2004. Ross <br /> Holloway states that original issues or concerns have been addressed; including <br /> turn lanes off Hopkins Trail North, no access from Bridge Street, only minor items <br /> have not been completed: man hole covers and paving. Milce Young questioned the <br /> financials, which Tim Currens said he had reviewed and was comfortable with. <br /> Jeff Dieterlen questioned the repairs and such, Ross Holloway spoke that Mr. <br /> Hopkins could replace them. Jeff Dieterlen made a motion to pass the final plat if <br /> castings were repaired and bonding completed, the motion passed unanimously. <br /> Next item, by Holloway Engineering, Jamestowne Estates Buildings 3,4,5 and 9 <br /> off Landersdale Rd. and Slideoff Rd. This dates back to 2004, where original plans <br /> and filings are is uncertain as the original owner has since died and it has come to <br /> the attention of the new owner, Tammy Dornan, that final approvals were never <br /> obtained. The condominiums have been completed, Ross Holloway states that the <br /> units have been measured and were built to originally approved specifications. <br /> Commission members questioned whether this was really an apartment complex, <br /> Tim Currens clarified that the original developer does not own this and that unit <br /> sales have happened, this makes them a condominium, Ross Holloway mentions <br /> that they are also much nicer than most apartment buildings.
