Minutes of the Metropolitan Police <br /> Commissioners Meeting <br /> June 19, 2008 <br /> The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Berwick <br /> welcomed everyone to the meeting. Present were Chief Viles, Commissioners Berwick, <br /> Kays and Bryant, Town Attorney Timothy Currens. <br /> Commissioner Kays motioned for the minutes to be approved and Commissioner Bryant <br /> seconded. <br /> Old Business <br /> Chief Viles updated the Police Commissioners on the sale of the vehicles and that the <br /> money will be in the police department's account shortly. <br /> New Business <br /> Chief Viles advised the Police Commissioners of the Statistics for the Month of May. <br /> Commissioner Kays stated that he was proud of the officers and their usage of gasoline <br /> for the month considering the current gas prices. <br /> Chief Viles updated the Police Commissioners on the status of Officers Ashbach and <br /> Goodwin at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. <br /> Chief Viles updated the Police Commissioners on the status of Officer David Schultz, <br /> currently working the late shift. <br /> Chief Viles updated the Police Commissioners on the status of the Prisoner <br /> Transport/Evidence Van. <br /> Chief Viles briefly discussed the request for the 2211d Mooresville Police Officer and will <br /> be present at the Town Board meeting on July 1st at 6:00 pin. Chief Viles stated that he <br /> has attempted to contact all 'Town Board members in reference to any questions that <br /> they had. <br /> Chief Viles also discussed the stats of the Mooresville Police and how they come to get <br /> the numbers that are given to the Police Commission. <br />
