New Business: A motion was made by Commissioner Watkins with a second by <br /> Commissioner Corman to approve Resolution 4, 2012 covering immediate needs of <br /> Southbridge Shopping Center; banking accounts the Clerk-Treasurer will use to take care <br /> of collections of rents and payment of utilities, secondly the temporary interim <br /> management agreement with Midland Atlantic and finalizing the Ivy Tech lease. Motion <br /> carried 4-0. <br /> Representatives from Midland Atlantic,Kelly Boyle, Jeff Hubley and Patty Scott,were <br /> present to discuss some of the repairs needed. First is the repairing or replacing of �I <br /> parking lot fixtures#18 thru 22. T&W Construction's recommendation was to move ,I <br /> forward with the repairs and suggested to take some of the light fixtures on the entry i <br /> drive down and move them on down on the access road and put new ones on the <br /> entryway and also to change the lenses on the lights. The lighting is not a safety issue at ' <br /> this time. The cost for each new light is$185.00. Ivy Tech wants foot candle lighting, (, <br /> but the lease has not been signed yet. Chairman Gutzwiller said the inspection report <br /> pointed out there was a leak in the roof that needs repaired. From a marketability ' <br /> standpoint the entry sign needs to be changed or the signage facade repaired. Chairman <br /> Gutzwiller wants to authorize Midland Atlantic to get bids for the sign and find out if the1,1 <br /> cinema wants to put up a sign now and then redo on the new sign. Chairman Gutzwiller r <br /> also would like some landscaping in the parking lot and with the other commissioner's <br /> approval would like to have Midland Atlantic to get some designs and bids for ,, <br /> landscaping work. <br /> I, <br /> ( The common area maintenance agreement needs revised and Tim Currens and Kelly <br /> Boyle will work on that agreement. 11 <br /> Commissioner Watkins asked Jeff Hubley if he was the leasing agent for Brown Bark <br /> when they owned the shopping center. Mr. Hubley said he was the leasing agent. <br /> Chairman Gutzwiller is continuing to work with Ivy Tech on the lease agreement. <br /> Attorney Curren and Chairman Gutzwiller will work out the final details minoring the <br /> memorandum of understanding agreement. 1 <br /> There being no further business to come before the commission at this time <br /> Commissioner Watkins moved to adjourn.
