202 Hadley Street <br />Mooresville, In.46158 <br />August 26, 1975 <br /> <br />Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals: <br /> <br /> Re; Zoning Variance to operate a flower shop. <br /> 222 Maple Lane, Lot No.17, Hadleys 1st Sub. <br /> <br />With an "S" curve on Maple Lane, and an offset corner <br />on Hadley Street, there is a less than desirable <br />traffic situation, which could Further deteriorate <br />with a retail outlet at this intersection. <br /> <br />A retail operation at this location, not adjacent to <br />any commercial endeavor, could only result in a loss <br />in value for each of several homes now in an area of <br />residences only. <br /> <br />The use of Spot Zoning, not a part of a probable or <br />desirable growth pattern, is to penalize those <br />merchants in a zoned commercial area, who now <br />contribute to the quality and growth of Mooresville. <br /> <br />Your conside~tion of these thoughts, in arriving at <br />your decision, will be appreciated. <br /> <br />Ollie L.
