MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, AUGUST 4, 2016 <br />Members present: Harold Gutzwiller, Don Stultz, Joe Beikman and Tim Corman. Mark Meadows, non- <br />voting member from Mooresville Consolidated School board, was present. Town Attorney, Tim Currens <br />was present. Project Manager Chelsey Manns was present. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Corman and seconded by Commissioner Stultz to approve the <br />executive session and public meeting minutes both July 7. Motion carried 4-0. <br />Financials were presented by email from the Clerk -Treasurer previously as well as QuickBooks reports <br />from Manns. Commissioner Corman made the motion to accept the financials as presented. The <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner Beikman and it passed 4-0. <br />Southbridge Crossing Commissioner Gutzwiller shared that a Letter of Interest (LOt) was emailed to the <br />Commission but no offers for the purchase of Southbridge Crossing were received. Additionally, others <br />verbally shared interest. Attorney Currens shared that per the statute, the RDC can continue <br />conversations with any of the interested parties. Commissioner Beikman made the motion that the RDC <br />take the LOI under advisement and to continue the conversations with interested parties. If nothing <br />comes of the continued conversations, the RDC can advertise at a later date. Commissioner Stultz <br />seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />i- - Public Comment: There were no comments made by the public. <br />Gateway Project Update: <br />SR 67: Commissioner Gutzwiller informed the RDC that he and Manns met with Carl Kincaid of Rundell <br />Ernstberger and Associates (REA) as well as Gibraltar and Becker, the contractors for SR 67.
