MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2016 <br />Members present: Harold Gutzwiller, Don Stultz, Joe Beikman, and Bill Boyd. Mark Meadows, non- <br />voting member from Mooresville Consolidated School board, was present. Town Attorney, Tim Currens <br />was present. Project Manager Chelsey Manns was present. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Beil<man and seconded by Commissioner Stultz to approve the <br />executive session and public meeting minutes for October 6th and October 13th. The motion carried 4-0. <br />Financials were presented by email from the Clerk -Treasurer previously. Commissioner Stultz made the <br />motion to accept the financials as presented. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Boyd and it <br />passed 4-0. <br />Public Comment Jack Ward of Ward's Apparel requested consideration be given for adding a dedicated <br />left hand turn lane southbound on Indiana Street at Moore Street. Commissioner Gutzwiller requested <br />Manns look into the matter. <br />Diane Huerkamp of Celebrate Mooresville thanked the Commission for all their work in helping to <br />beautify and strengthen Mooresville. <br />Legal Commissioner Gutzwiller requested that legal present the Resolution regarding the OCRA Grant <br />Celebrate Mooresville has received and the RDC has agreed to match. Commissioner Boyd approved the <br />resolution as presented. Commissioner Beikman seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Southbridge Crossing Manns reported there have been some lighting issues and she has been working <br />through them with the CBRE team. <br />Gateway Project Update: <br />Bicentennial Park: Rundell Ernstberger and Associates Partner Carl Kincaid presented the 95% <br />Construction Documents to the Commission for consideration of bidding in December. The proposed <br />timeline is as follows: <br />11/11 Bid Documents <br />11/16 Bid Docs Available <br />11/28 Pre-bid Meeting <br />12/1 Addendum #1 <br />12/8 Bid Opening <br />Commissioner Boyd made the motion to accept the construction documents and to accept the project <br />timeline for bidding. Commissioner Stultz seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />SR 67: Manns shared that she along with Superintendent of Public Works Dave Moore met with Rundell <br />Ernstberger and Associates Project Manager Kyle Koger and two represents from Becker Landscaping to <br />
