MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />TUESDAY, JANUARY 3, 2017 <br />Members present: Harold Gutzwiller, Don Stultz, Joe Beikman, Tim Corman and Bill Boyd. Mark <br />Meadows, non-voting member from Mooresville Consolidated School board, was present. Town <br />Attorney, Tim Currens was present. Project Manager Chelsey Manns was present. <br />Prior to the meeting, Commissioners were sworn in. <br />Reorganization Commissioner Gutzwiller called the meeting to order and asked for the reorganization of <br />the Commission. Commissioner Beikman made the motion to appoint Commissioner Gutzwiller <br />President. Commissioner Corman seconded the motion, which passed 5-0. Commissioner Stultz made <br />the motion to appoint Commissioner Corman Vice President. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Boyd, which carried 5-0. Commissioner Corman made the motion to appoint <br />Commissioner Stultz Secretary. Commissioner Boyd seconded the motion, which carried 5-0. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Boyd and seconded by Commissioner Stultz to approve the <br />executive session and public meeting minutes for December 8. The motion carried 5-0. <br />Financials were presented by email from the Clerk -Treasurer previously. Commissioner Boyd made the <br />motion to accept the financials as presented. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Beikman and <br />it passed 5-0. <br />Public Comment No public comment. <br />Southbridge Crossing Commissioner Corman shared that there was a potential tenant that has been <br />presented with a lease agreement. Pending no changes are made to the lease, upon its return, <br />Commissioner Corman made the motion to approve the lease and appoint Commissioner Gutzwiller <br />signatory. Commissioner Stultz seconded the motion which carried 5-0. <br />Manns provided an update on the HVAC at 252 Southbridge Crossing, which is the home to the potential <br />new tenant. Economy Heating and Cooling of Mooresville provided an assessment of the units that are <br />in place currently. Two of the four units appeared to be operational. The other two did not seem to be <br />working. The units are 19 years old.
