the purchase price and any costs incurred in connection with or on account of the acquisition of the <br />property. Commissioner Boyd made the motion to approve Resolution 2018-8, appointing <br />Commissioner Gutzwiller signatory. Commissioner Stultz seconded the motion, which carried 3-0. <br />Commissioner Gutzwiller discussed the Blackdog Brewing inquiry from last month's meeting. He <br />applauded the effort and welcomes them to Town, but does not feel it's a venture the RDC should be <br />involved in. Each Commissioner agreed. Commissioner Boyd did recommend the company reach out to <br />the Town for possible abatement opportunities. <br />New Business: Manns presented information regarding the new 2018 legislation which requires each <br />redevelopment commission to annually present information for the governing bodies of all taxing units <br />that have territory within an allocation area of the redevelopment commission. It was Manns <br />recommendation to hold that meeting in December of 2018 and for future meetings to be held in May <br />to coincide with Umbaugh's annual report. The Commissioners agreed with Manns recommendation. <br />Commissioner Gutzwiller suggested this be held at the beginning of the December meeting. <br />Legal Update: No legal update. <br />Economic Development/Projects Update: Manns did share that in September, she attended a Library <br />Board meeting at their request to discuss TIF and talk of the implications. <br />Review of Claims: Claims were presented in the amount of $43,354.43. Commissioner Stoltz made the <br />motion to approve the claims as presented. Commissioner Boyd seconded the motion. The motion <br />carried 3-0. <br />The next regular meeting will be Thursday, December 6 at 6:00pm. <br />Commissioner Stoltz made the motion to adjourn. <br />Chairman <br />ATTEST: <br />Secretary <br />
