Plan Commission Minutes <br />Thursday July 2511, 2019 <br />Members present: Perry King, Robert Alumbaugh, Mike Young, Jeff <br />Dieterlen, Dennis Chambers, Dave Moore, Tammy VanHook and <br />attorney Mel Daniel. Jessica Hester was absent. <br />Mike Young called the meeting to order and requested a motion on <br />the previous minutes; Robert Alumbaugh made the motion to accept <br />the minutes as presented, Perry King seconded the motion passed. <br />Dave Moore abstained as he was not present at the previous meeting. <br />First item on the agenda is the Rezone request at Richhart's Self <br />Storage on St Rd 144. Mike Young clarified that the Commission had <br />the authority to grant a continuance, he also clarified that additional <br />notices would need to be sent. Perry King made the motion to grant <br />one additional continuance, David Moore seconded the motion and <br />the continuance and the motion passed unanimously. <br />The second item on the agenda is the rezone request at Pennington <br />Rd. Mike Young addressed the audience as there had been statements <br />made at the Cleric Treasurer's office, during file reviews that multiple <br />individuals notified would like a continuance to better prepare for <br />what is being requested. Mike Young entertained the idea of a <br />continuance prior to Petitioner presentation, he requested input from <br />the Commission members. Tammy VanHook asked the audience for a <br />show of hands for those wishing for the continuance, approximately 6 <br />or more individuals and or families. One gentleman from the <br />audience expressed concerns over notification, green cards were <br />compared to the list of individuals notified. Ross Holloway expressed <br />his disagreement with allowing any continuance prior to presentation. <br />Tammy VanHook stated she would be in favor of a continuance, with <br />the understanding that the Petitioners would be allowed to present at <br />the next meeting. Mike Young called for a motion, the motion to <br />continue was made with no new notices, seconded and passed. <br />
