simply placing a business in a mostly residential area. He presented the <br />Commission with two petitions (to be part of the minutes) requesting <br />denial of the rezone request. Ms. Stanford, Dr. Johnson, Shane Williams <br />and others expressed similar concerns, some expressing concerns of <br />attempting to push this through so quickly, and also expressed wishes to <br />have the rezone denied and residential zoning remain. Mike Young then <br />again asked the Commission members if they had questions or concerns, <br />Tammy VanHook stated that though this meeting was earlier in the <br />month, due to holiday schedule, the rezone if voted on and sent to the <br />Town Council would not be heard by the Council until the second <br />meeting the following month as is procedure, clarifying Mr. Holloways <br />client would be unable to wrap this up before years end. When no <br />further questions or concerns were expressed Mike Young called for a <br />motion: Jeff Dieterlen made a motion to send an unfavorable <br />recommendation to the Town Council, Tammy VanHook seconded the <br />motion and the motion of unfavorable passed unanimously. <br />The next item on the agenda is a Final Plat approval at Hadley Corners <br />presented by John Larrison of Holloway Engineering. John Larrison <br />reviewed the history, presented the final plat and expressed the minimal <br />lot size changes and two lots, then stated there were no other new <br />changes. When no concerns or comments were expressed Mike Young <br />called for a motion; a motion was made and seconded to accept the final <br />plat approval request, the motion carried 7-0. <br />There were 77 inspections and 32 permits since the October meeting. <br />The next item on the agenda is the presented new filing application for <br />the Plan Commission. Mike Young and Jeff Dieterlen asked Tammy <br />VanHook if any comments or concerns had been relayed, Mike Young <br />then asked the Commission for concerns, questions and comments: Jeff <br />Dieterlen confirmed areas that needed contact information and phone <br />numbers would be completed prior to use. When no further comments <br />were made Mike Young called for a motion: Jeff Dieterlen made the <br />
