Councilman Stanley made the motion to approve claims for $454,277.1. Councilman Cook <br />seconded. Motion carried 4-0 <br />Town Council Comments: <br />Councilman Cook proposed the department heads to come up with ideas on how to honor <br />retirees. Something that would be small and sentimental to the retiree to honor those who <br />have spent years serving the Town. <br />Councilman Stanley wanted to make sure that the council members and citizens of the Town <br />would attend the joint meeting of the Council and the Redevelopment Commission on <br />December 1 at 6:00 P.M. <br />Councilman Stanley proposed and motioned that the Town invests in a Zoom video conference <br />subscription. With Covid on the rise again, the subscription would allow the council and other <br />town boards to meet safely during the ongoing pandemic for a minimal cost of approximately <br />$200 per year. Councilman Warthen seconded the motion. Motion Carried 4-0 <br />The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on Tuesday, <br />December 1, 2020, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center <br />There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion to adjourn <br />was made by Councilman Stanley with a second from Councilman Warthen.
