Motion for Approval of Claims - <br />Councilman Stanley made the Motion to approve claims for $947,812.14. Councilman Swinney <br />seconded. Motion carried 5-0 <br />Town Council Comments— <br />Councilman Cook recommended Chief Julian also include a rain date on the Farmhouse Street Fair <br />permit. <br />Councilman Williams said that Rex Cook requested a pedestrian crossing sign by the tennis court and the <br />Softball Field, where there is already a painted walkway but no signage. It was determined by the legal <br />Council that If there is already a dedicated crosswalk, Dave is free to put up the signs provided there is <br />appropriate funding. <br />Councilman Williams stated he would like to see all board meetings scheduled at the Government <br />Center. <br />Councilman Swinney noted that he is available for general questions or concerns through Facebook and <br />the Town website. <br />Council President Warthen gave an update that both the Mooresville School Board and the <br />Redevelopment Commission are willing to partner with the town to fund the traffic study. <br />The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on Tuesday, April 6, <br />2021 at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council at this time, a motion to adjourn was made <br />by Councilman Cook with a second from Councilman Stanley.
