M <br />Update on 911: Mark Mathis has sent a letter to County Council saying he appreciates their support and <br />David Rogers also reached out to the county concerning the revenue sent in on phone bills and are <br />asking to use Mooresville's share of the money to.help fund our dispatch. <br />Mooresville's share of the money was sent to the County Central Dispatch, but Mooresville kept their <br />dispatch. Kelly Acala, Morgan County Councilwoman, was present at the Town Council meeting and she <br />reported the state statute does say there can be two dispatch centers in a county. She is in support of <br />Mooresville, but is one of seven members. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Stanley with a second by Councilman Rogers to have David and Mark <br />move forward with this item. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Police Chief Danny Allen reported 272 incidents, 9 ar , 8 citations, 410 warnings, 2 personal injury, <br />and 59 overtime hours. may% <br />David Rogers, Dustin Stanley, and Mark is working on a job description for animal control. <br />Public comments:. Scott Lundy thanked the Town for negotiating with their family attorney. Councilman <br />Rogers thanked him for their family being understanding because it.was the Town's error. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Rogers with a second by Councilman Stanley to approve payment of <br />the claims in the amount of $515,324.94. Motion carried 5-0. <br />There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion was made by <br />Councilman Rogers with a second by Councilwoman Hester to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 5-0. <br />The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council is Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at 6:30 <br />P.
