Mooresville Plan Commission <br />Minutes July 81h, 2021 <br />Members present: Mike Young, Jeff Dieterlen, David Saddler, Robert Alumbaugh, <br />Mark Taylor, Kim Schofield, Josh Brown, Tammy VanHook and attorney Beth <br />Copeland. JD Robinson was absent <br />Mike Young called the meeting to order and welcomed Tammy VanHook back to <br />the Plan Commission, he then called for a motion on the minutes: David Saddler <br />made the motion to accept the June minutes as presented the motion was seconded <br />and accepted 7-1-0, Tammy VanHook abstained from the vote. <br />First item on the agenda: Primary Plat at 5440 E Neitzel Rd, presented by <br />Holloway on behalf of Donald Sizemore. The request is to divide the 19plus acres <br />into two lots: lot 1 @ 14.036 acres, lot 2 @ 5.010 acres. Mike Young called for <br />questions. Jeff Dieterlen questioned a maintenance agreement; it was agreed <br />wording would be added to the plat prior to recording. When no further questions <br />or comments were brought by the Commission members Mike Young opened the <br />discussion up to the audience. Mr. Honeycutt had received the plan proposal but no <br />home information, he confirmed current zoning (AG) and that no rezone was being <br />sought at this time, he then expressed no further concerns with the request. Mr. <br />Neitzel the location of the driveway, then indicated he had no issues with the plat <br />request. When no further questions or concerns were made Mike Young called for <br />a motion: motion was made to approve, seconded and passed 8-0. <br />Second item on the agenda: Primary Plat @ E North County Line and Ferguson <br />Roads, presented by Holloway Engineering. The request is for a vacation of lot 2 <br />Allison First Minor plat and lot 4 Allison Second Minor Plat 2°a Plat RePlat to <br />create Allison Estates. (27.429 acres) Mike Young called for questions or <br />comments; when none were asked from the Commission Members or audience he <br />then called for a motion: David Saddler made the motion to accept, Robert <br />Alumbaugh seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. <br />Third item on the agenda: Primary Plat at E North County Line and Ferguson <br />Roads. The request presented by Ross Holloway is for a 73 -lot plat to be known as <br />Allison Estates, he included a traffic study and indicated he had met with the fire <br />marshal, who had no concerns. Mike Young called for questions or concerns from <br />members. Josh Brown expressed concern for a need of a second entrance and <br />questioned the depth of the retention area. Ross again stated the lack of concern <br />from the Fire Marshall he spoke to, JD Robinson, and indicated the retention depth <br />
