nm Legal — Electronic Meeting Resolution 25-2021 -Councilman Cook made the motion to approve Resolution 25-2021. Councilman Stanley seconded. Motion Carried 5-0 Dedicate Phase III of Eastmore -This is still being reviewed and will be presented at the next meeting. Legal counsel has requested approval to seek additional counsel as the town attorney cannot represent both the town council and the fire chief in the same proceeding. Councilman Stanley made a motion to approve the request. Councilman Cook seconded. Motion carried 5-0 Public Comments — A lady in the audience came before the Council to comment on the school traffic issue. Council President stated that the school board implemented the changes, but he appreciates that the Town can all work together to get good things accomplished. Approval of Claims - Councilman Stanley made the motion to approve claims for $473,500.48. Councilman Swinney seconded. Motion carried 5-0 Town Council Comm�nts— Councilman Williams wanted to remind everyone of the 200th celebration website where the public can submit ideas and sign up to volunteer. Mooresville200.com Councilman Swinney encouraged the public to keep an eye on their catalytic converters as he recently had one stolen and commended the work of the PD when he called to report the theft. Councilman Stanley asked for a document showing the breakdown of the funding solution that Council President Warthen proposed in a prior meeting to fund some capital projects. The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. There being no further business to come before the Council at this time, a motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Stanley with a second from Councilman Swinney Motion Carried 5-0.
