nm <br />Legal — <br />Electronic Meeting Resolution 25-2021 -Councilman Cook made the motion to approve <br />Resolution 25-2021. Councilman Stanley seconded. Motion Carried 5-0 <br />Dedicate Phase III of Eastmore -This is still being reviewed and will be presented at the next <br />meeting. <br />Legal counsel has requested approval to seek additional counsel as the town attorney cannot <br />represent both the town council and the fire chief in the same proceeding. Councilman Stanley made a <br />motion to approve the request. Councilman Cook seconded. Motion carried 5-0 <br />Public Comments — <br />A lady in the audience came before the Council to comment on the school traffic issue. Council <br />President stated that the school board implemented the changes, but he appreciates that the Town can <br />all work together to get good things accomplished. <br />Approval of Claims - <br />Councilman Stanley made the motion to approve claims for $473,500.48. Councilman Swinney <br />seconded. Motion carried 5-0 <br />Town Council Comm�nts— <br />Councilman Williams wanted to remind everyone of the 200th celebration website where the public can <br />submit ideas and sign up to volunteer. Mooresville200.com <br />Councilman Swinney encouraged the public to keep an eye on their catalytic converters as he recently <br />had one stolen and commended the work of the PD when he called to report the theft. <br />Councilman Stanley asked for a document showing the breakdown of the funding solution that Council <br />President Warthen proposed in a prior meeting to fund some capital projects. <br />The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on Tuesday, November <br />2nd, 2021, at 6:30 P.
