`"1 <br />December 21, 2021 <br />The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, December 21 at 6:30 P. M. at <br />the Mooresville Government Center. <br />Council members present were Council.President Tom Warthen, Councilman Dustin Stanley, <br />Councilman Jeff Cook, Councilman Greg Swinney, and Shane Williams attended electronically. <br />Town attorney Beth Copeland was present. <br />Council President Warthen gave the prayer. <br />Councilman Stanley made a motion to approve the minutes of the December 7, 2021 meeting <br />pending the correction of the spelling of Attorney Beth Copeland's name and seconded by <br />Councilman Swinney. Motion Carried 5-0 <br />Unfinished Business — <br />Salary Ordinance Public Hearing—Council President Warthen presented the salary ordinance. <br />There were no comments from the public. Councilman Stanley made a motion to close the <br />public hearing. Councilman Swinney seconded. Motion Carried 5-0. Councilman Stanley made <br />the motion to approve Ordinance 18-2021, Councilman Swinney seconded. Motion carried 5-0 <br />Body Worn Service Agreement - Chief Julian presented the quotes for the body cameras from <br />BodyWorn and WatchGuard. Chief Julian favored going with WatchGuard. BodyWorn Quote <br />was $273,000 for a 5 -year subscription -based product. WatchGuard Quote $73,046 <br />Jared Baker from Motorola Solutions gave the details of the service agreement. Steven Eltzroth <br />spoke about the easy integration of the WatchGuard cameras and Geobase software versus <br />Body Worn, <br />Councilman Cook asked about grant availability, and the Motorola Solutions representative <br />stated all of the grants for this year are spoken for. <br />Dean Mayfield from the audience mentioned some Indiana DOJ and Legislative Grants that may <br />be available. <br />Councilman Cook motioned to table the discussion until the next meeting, pending additional <br />information, Councilman Stanley seconded. Motion Carried 5-0 <br />
