Town Council Comments — <br />Councilman Cook reiterated his support of the canine program and funding it through the <br />council for continued success. <br />Councilman Williams stated his support for the canine program and to have the proper funding <br />from the town for the program to be able to run in perpetuity. He also stated that he believes <br />former Chief Julian was not as cooperative as he could be with information to the council and <br />thanked him for his service. <br />Councilman Swinney reiterated his support for the canine program. <br />Councilman Stanley stated his appreciation for former Chief Julian and his service. <br />Council President Warthen gave an update on the Capital improvement plans and how this plan <br />will possibly enable the town to fund the K-9 program and reiterated his support for the K-9 <br />program. <br />The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on Tuesday, <br />April 5, 2022, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br />There being no further business to come before the council at this time a motion to adjourn <br />was made by Councilman Stanley with a second from Councilman Cook.
