The passwords are needed to connect and activate ports so the Park Department can access the things they need via the intranet. Public Comments Br4ton Hughes came# re the council to discuss the K-9 unit and his displeasure with members of the council and their decision to remove former Chief Julian. Rosemary Julian came before the council to address allegations about a missing firearm at the police department, going over the move and the timeline of the discovery of the missing firearm and who knew about the lost firearm before the police report was filed. She criticized members of the council for their conduct and the demotion of former Chief Julian. She listed the numerous things that Chief Julian did to benefit the Police Department during his time of service. Mel Perry came before the council to voice her displeasure with the council members over the council's treatment of the Police department. Rob Samuels came before the council to ask questions about the council member's involvement on other town commissions and boards. He voiced his displeasure with members of the council over local business Furry Friends' recent issues, the removal of former Chief Julian, and council member Williams' social media postings. Ann Miller from Martinsville came before the council to commend three of the town's officers, David Schultz, Scott Hamilton, and Mr. Miller for assisting her during an accident in the Town of Mooresville. Councilman Stanley made the motion to approve claims for $458,918.18, second by Councilman Williams, and carried 5-0. Town Council Comments— Councilman Williams read a statement he provided to a reporter and stated he would not try to refute any statement. However, he disagrees with many of the characterizations made about him. He apologized for how people treated Brock Chipman at the previous meeting. The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 6:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Government Center.
