MOORESVILLE TOWN COUNCIL <br />RESOLUTION NO. M-a0.1X <br />AN AMENDED RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AUTHORITY FOR THE USE OF <br />CREDIT CARDS AND FOR ENTERING INTO CREDIT CARD AGREEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the Town Council is the legislative body for purposes of establishing <br />accounts, authority for use of charge cards and other financial matters for the Town of <br />Mooresville; <br />WHEREAS, it has become necessary and efficient for municipal corporations to <br />use the internet for ordering supplies; <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to have a charge card for purposes of ordering supplies <br />by way of the internet; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mooresville Town Council as <br />follows: <br />1. The Town of Mooresville shall enter into a business agreement with Citizens <br />Bank of Mooresville for use of a credit card through Citizens Bank subject to their Corporate <br />Account Cardholder Agreement which has been reviewed by the Clerk/Treasurer. <br />2. The Town shall pay any fees pursuant to the Agreement for use of a credit <br />card along with entering into an Agreement to show authorized users and amounts (i.e. <br />credit limits) for use of the card. <br />3. Authorized users shall include, but not be limited to the following <br />Department Heads: Park Department Director, Director of Street Department, <br />Superintendent of Sewage Treatment Plant, Town Court Judge, Clerk/Treasurer, Police <br />72106761vi <br />
