1858 <br />Town Council / Plan Commission <br />Comprehensive / Thoroughfare meeting minutes May 23, 2023 <br />The Mooresville Town Council and the Mooresville Plan Commission met for a <br />special meeting on Tuesday May 23rd, 2023, at 6:00pm in the Government Center. <br />Members present; Town Council: Tom Warthen, Greg Swinney and Shane <br />Williams. Plan Commission: David Saddler, Mark Taylor, Tammy VanHook and <br />Kim Schofield. <br />Tom Warthen gave the invocation and called the joint meeting to order. <br />Adam Peaper of HWC Engineering presented the May 2023 draft of the / <br />Mooresville Comprehensive and Thoroughfare Plans. <br />Comprehensive Plan Presentation: <br />Steps and Procedures <br />Lay out of the Comprehensive Plan document <br />Presented / highlighted changes since previous draft <br />Took Council and Commission questions <br />Thoroughfare Plan Presentation: <br />Traffic patterns <br />Accident history <br />Highlighted potential project priorities <br />Took Council and Commission questions <br />While there was no vote taken it was the consensus of all members present that <br />additional questions, concerns, corrections, and or additions be addressed to Adam <br />via email. It was also concluded that to allow for any further updates the new target <br />date for Plan Commission public hearings and Town Council presentation would <br />be July rather than June. <br />Town Council member Greg Swinney made a motion to adj ourn, seconded by <br />Shane Williams; motion carried 3-0. <br />Plan Commission member Mark Taylor made a motion to adjourn, seconded by <br />Tammy VanHook; motion carried 4-0. <br />Vo <br />P ommission Secretary Tammy VanHook <br />Council President Tom Warthen <br />
