MINUTES 5.2 Eclipse Committee Request, Kids Zone Update. The Eclipse Committee is very appreciative of the $1,000 dollars donation toward the cost of the kid's zone. Due to the level of the Park's donation, all fees collected from wristband sales are not shared between the Parks and the Eclipse Committee. Board discussion. 5.2.1 Upon a motion by Lynn Adams seconded by Danny Lundy, the Board voted 7/0, agreed not to profit share with Eclipse Committee, but keep any presell from any camper's wristbands. 6. NEW BUSINESS 6.1 RFA_ 2024 Fee Approval. The fee structure for 2024 was presented to the Board for approval. The fee structure will be for the 2024 operational year for programs, shelters, pool rentals & passes, and general operations. Board discussion. 6.1.1 Upon a motion by Mark Taylor, seconded by Danny Shaw, the Board voted 7/0, approving the 2024 operational Fee plan for 2024. 6.2 Alcohol Permit - Concert Series 2024. The concert dates were presented to the Board for the 2024 Concert Series. Staff requested authorization to allow the sale of beer and wine on Park Property. Friday May 17th at Pioneer Park, Thursday May 30th at Bicentennial Park, Friday June 7th at Pioneer Park, Thursday June 13th at Bicentennial Park, Friday lune 21st at Pioneer Park, Thursday July 4th at Pioneer Park, Friday July 12th at Pioneer Park, Thursday July 18th at Bicentennial Park and Friday July 26 at Pioneer Park. Board discussion. 6.2.1 Upon a motion by Danny Lundy, seconded by Danny Shaw, the Board voted 6/1, to authorize the sale of beer and wine on concert dates and locations. 6.3 Information Technology IT for Parks Department. Sondhi Solutions was selected for IT management and will bring the Town's system up to the required levels and more. Superintendent Cornelius requested that the Park department formally agree to sign on with the Town of Mooresville for IT services with Sondhi Solutions. Board discussion. 6.3.1 After discussion, upon a motion by Lynn Adams, seconded by Mark Taylor, the Board voted 7/0 to agree to sign on with the Town of Mooresville and use Sondhi Solutions for IT services. 6.4 2024 Contracts. By the recommendation of Superintendent Cornelius, the Park provides a Facility Use Agreement with each organization for no more than one year at a time. Below is a list of contracts from 2023 that we will be revised and contact the organizations for the adoption of the 2024 contracts. Fireworks, Baseball / Softball, Komets Soccer, RD Productions, Boy Scouts, Mooresville Lions Club and Starns Outdoor Solutions. Board discussed. 6.4.1 After discussion, upon a motion by Brent Callahan, seconded by Mark Taylor, the Board voted 7/0 to agree to provide a Facility Use Agreement with each organization for no more than one year at a time.
