MONTHLY MOORESVILLE PARK BOARD MEETING MINUTES December u, 2023 6.5 Build Operate Transfer (BOT) — Option for Pioneer Park Expansion Project. Superintendent Cornelius discussed with the park board Indiana Statute IC 5-23. Two public notifications are required. Board discussion. 6.5.1 After discussion, upon a motion by Danny Lundy, seconded by Lynn Adams, the Board voted 7/0 to move forward with the BOT system. 7. DEPARTMENT REPORTS 7.1. Assistant Superintendent Report 7.1.1 RECU will have Winter Break during Mooresville Schools break, returning to Before/After on January 81h, 2024. To get the year starting on the right foot, a staff meeting is scheduled for January 5th, 2024. 7.1.2 Holiday programming is the week of December 11 & December 18th. The offerings are Santa letters, two candy cane hunts and winter camp. 7.1.3 Concert schedule will be released by RD Production on Thursday, December 14tH 7.1.4 The Park will be officially open for summer hiring in January. 7.1.5 Offering free virtual health/mental insurance through Indiana Youth Wellbeing Program to our staff 18 and over. 7.2 Superintendent Report 7.2.1 Superintendent Cornelius updated the Board on the Park Master Plan Survey. V3 has completed the topographical survey. 7.2.2 The installation date for the electronic sign is approximately March 2024. 7.2.3 The Park Office will be closed to the public from December 25- January 1. The Park Office will reopen to the public on January 2, 2024. 7.2.3.1 Upon a motion by Lynn Adams, seconded by Lynn Adams, the Board voted 7/0 to close the Park Office to public from December 25 —January 1, 2024. 7.2.4 2024 Park Board appointments will be voted on next month. 8. CITIZEN'S COMMENTS No citizens comment. 9. BOARD MEMBER'S COMMENTS Work session on Tuesday, December 19 from 11 am-2pm at the Mooresville Ed Center. ADJOURNMENT Upon a motion made by Mark Taylor, seconded by Danny Shaw, the Board adjourned at 8:10 pm,
