Resolution 1-2024 2023 Year-end Appropriation Transfers. Councilman Brown motioned to approve the <br />year-end appropriation transfer, with a second by Councilman Witt. Motion carried 4-0. <br />Police Chief Buckner requested an increase in the current pay rate for part-time dispatch employees from <br />$18.00 to $20.00 per hour. He acknowledges that this was an oversight during the budget process and <br />this increase would not have an adverse effect on the 2024 police department budget. <br />Councilman Brown motioned to move forward with amending the 2024 Salary Ordinance, with a second <br />by Councilman Witt. Motion carried. 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Brown, with a second by Councilman Witt to appoint Charles McGure <br />to the Board of Zoning Appeals. Motion carried 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Cook, with a second by Councilman Brown to appoint John Robinson <br />to the Plan Commission. Motion carried 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Cook, with a second by Councilman Kirk to appoint Council Brown to <br />the Plan Commission. Motion carried 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Cook, with a second by Councilman Witt to appoint Tammy Van Hook <br />to the Plan Commission. Motion carried 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Brown, with a second by Councilman Witt to appoint Robert <br />Alumbaugh to the Plan Commission. Motion carried 4-0. <br />Vice President Swinney announced an open position on the Plan Commission, which requires an executive <br />appointment. The open position will be posted on the Town's website. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Witt, with a second by Councilman Brown to nominate Mark Taylor to <br />the Park Board. Motion carried 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Witt, with a second by Councilman Brown to nominate Danny Shaw <br />to the Park Board. Motion carried 4-0. <br />Councilman Cook made a motion to reappoint Fred Settles to the Police Commission. The motion failed <br />due to a lack of a second. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Brown, with a second by Councilman Witt to appoint Ryan Taylor to <br />the Redevelopment Commission. Motion carried 4-0. <br />J. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Brown, with a second by Councilman Witt to appoint Brian Culp to the <br />Redevelopment Commission. Motion carried 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Brown, with a second by Councilman Witt to appoint Dana Heidenreich <br />to the Redevelopment Commission. Motion carried 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Brown, with a second by Councilman Witt to appoint Erin Pipkin to the <br />Redevelopment Commission. Motion carried 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Cook, with a second by Councilman Brown to appoint Councilman <br />Swinney to the Redevelopment Commission. Motion carried 4-0. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Cook, with a second by Councilman Brown to appoint Ryan Goodwin <br />to the Mooresville Library Board. Motion carried 4-0. <br />Department Head Reports - <br />Street Superintendent Dave Moore presented the street signage for the Sammy L. Davis Honor of Medal <br />Way. <br />
