ERM <br />Linel LLC CF -1 Personal Property Property. At the time of the abatement request the investment <br />estimate was $825,000.00 actual investment was $824,900.00. The estimated employment <br />number was 84, and the current actual employment number is 50, but they are actively hiring. <br />Councilman Swinney motioned to find Sun Polymers in substantial compliance with Resolution <br />10-2016. Councilman Brown seconded. Motion carried 5-0. <br />ReConserve CF -1 Real Property. At the time of the abatement request the investment estimate <br />was $4,200,000.00 actual investment was $10,278,963.00. The estimated employment number <br />was 12, and the current actual employment number is 13. Councilman Swinney motioned to find <br />Sun Polymers in substantial compliance with Resolution 23-2021. Councilman Brown seconded. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />ReConserve CF -1 Personal Property. At the time of the abatement request the investment <br />estimate was $5,300,000.00 actual investment was $6,529,800.00. The estimated employment <br />number was 12, and the current actual employment number is 13. Councilman Swinney made a <br />motion to find Sun Polymers in substantial compliance with Resolution 23-2021. Councilman <br />Brown seconded. Motion carried 5-0. <br />MacOwan Real Estate LLC CF -1 Real Property. At the time of the abatement request the <br />investment estimate was $3,000,000.00 actual investment was $2,555,497.00. The estimated <br />employment number was 33, the current actual employment number is 48. Councilman Swinney <br />motioned to find Sun Polymers in substantial compliance with Resolution 07-2018. Councilman <br />Brown seconded. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Clerk -Treasurer Wamsley is requesting the process of having the 2005 Subaru designated as <br />surplus. <br />Councilman Brown made a motion to declare the Subaru as surplus. Councilman Witt seconded. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />Department Head Reports - <br />Chief Buckner stated that the tasers have arrived, and the training will occur in July. An agility <br />test will be held on Saturday for seven potential candidates. A lateral transfer from ISU is being <br />considered, but he needs to go through the physical for 77 Police and Fire. Councilman Cook <br />requested an update on how currentjob postings are listed. Chief Buckner said that openings are <br />released on (LEA's website, and they will also post positions on Facebook. Applications are <br />consistently being submitted year-round. <br />Dave Moore gave an update on the street sweeping project that has started along with the <br />community crossings project. He mentioned Steve Styles's passing and many contributions to the <br />Street Department during his tenure. <br />Phil Cornelius presented the street closure permits for the summer concert series for approval <br />on May 30th, June 13th, and July 18th. Councilman Brown made a motion to approve the street <br />closure permits. Councilman Swinney seconded. Motion carried 5-0. <br />He also provided an update on the ongoing trail improvement projects. He reminded the council <br />of Old Town Park's grand reopening on June 5th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. He announced the hiring <br />of a new Recreation Coordinator, Talesha Freidenfelt. <br />Councilman Swinney made the motion to approve claims in the amount of $571,450.87. <br />Councilman Brown seconded. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Councilman Swinney moved to approve payroll clearing in the amount of $211,230.86. <br />Councilman Brown seconded. The motion carried 5-0. <br />
