Councilman Witt seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br />Chief Buckner outlined plans to utilize the police department's 2023 vehicle budget, noting that the <br />three additional vehicles wit[ bring the total to six this year. This decision was based on the <br />discussion with council members during the budget work session on July 3, 2024, regarding the <br />inability to find police vehicles during 2023. He stated he still needs to consult with the clerk - <br />treasurer about the next steps for financing. <br />Legal: <br />Town Attorney Chou-il Lee mentioned the PacMoore Dedication and Deed of Public Right of Way. <br />Councilman Brown motioned to proceed with the dedication and deed of the public right of way. <br />Councilman Witt seconded. Motion carried 3-0 <br />The next regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at <br />6:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Government Center. <br />There being no further business to come before the council at this time, a motion to adjourn was <br />made by Councilman Brown with a second from Councilman Witt.
