Mr. Kramer asked if there were any comments from the floor? Mr. Robert Ridgeway, 10039 N. <br />David Lane, said his concerns was that the business sets between two residences and their <br />property value would drop, if they are servicing cars that the chemicals will get into their septic <br />systems, if they will park cars in their yard, what were the hours of business, what the signage <br />would be and if they would buy and pay for the cars them. Mr. David said they have never <br />parked cars in or near their yard and they would not finance any cars. Mr. Barry ask what size <br />of sign they were planning to install and Mr. David said they were not sure what size of sign they <br />would need. Mr. Swisher asked if they were going to be servicing the vehicles inside the shop <br />and Mr. David said they would. He said they would not being servicing any vehicles, but the <br />ones they plan to sell. Mr. Currens stated there were state regulations on disposing of chemical <br />that they would have to follow. Mr. Barry asked what hours they planned to be open and they <br />said they would be open 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday thru Saturday. They will not be <br />adding any additional lights to the existing building. <br /> <br />After reading the Facts of Finding for Variance of Use Mr. Kramer asked for a motion to <br />approve or deny the variance. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Don Barry, second by Alan Kramer, to approve the Variance of Use for <br />Millard L. David, 10022 Old State Road 67, to operated a used car business with the following <br />restrictions, operating hour will be 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday thru Saturday, signage will <br />not be any larger than three feet by four feet, no additional outside lighting, a maximum limit of <br />twenty five cars on outside storage, limit outside storage to the present graveled parking area and <br />with the acknowledgement that Mr. David personally sells Corvettes, which will not be any <br />closer that one hundred feet to the adjoining property line. Motion carded 2-1 with Jon Swisher <br />voting against. The motion did not pass due to the lack of a quorum and will be tabled until <br />April 8, 2004,at 7:00 P.M.
