2000 phase 3 would begin.

Linda Bryant, Madison Township Assessor, told the Commission the County Commissioners
were balking at taking over road maintenance and tabled discussion to their December meeting.

Joe Beikman, building inspector reminded them two parking spaces for the tirst bedroom and
one parking space each for every other bedroom in the home. Many of the homes have 4
bedroom options, some 5 bedroom options, and on larger lots, some have 3 car garages. After
more discussion, motion was made by Commissioner Ehrhart, second by Commissioner
Marshall to approve final plat with the above listed requirements on the plat. Motion carried 6-
O.

Louise Conrad, 239 East South Street, presented the attached letter to the commission. The
neighbors on East South Street are concerned about Wooley's sawmill. She told the
commission the mill had expanded on two lots ,zoned R-1, within the past two years and the
neighbors are concerned the mill win expand on two more lots without rezoning. Building
Inspector Joe Beikman told the commission he didn't think they were legal on the other two lots.
Mr. Beikman said he would check zoning on the two lots that had been expanded on in the past
two years. He told the commission the lot across the street from Wooley that is used as a
parking lot has been industrial use for years. The neighbors also had complaints on drainage.
Attorney Tim Currens told them the commission could not control drainage after rezoning, only
when zoning issues came before the commission.. Attorney Currens told them some of the area
was pre-existing to our current regulations.

~

Building Inspector, Joe Beikman, told the commission the brown packets he put in front of them
contained copies of corrections on zoning ordinance. He wants them to review and compare
before the next meeting. He also reported 15 (fifteen) pennits and 87 (eighty-seven) inspections.

There being no further business before the commission at this time, Commissioner Pygman
motioned to adjourn.

ATTEST:
'}
/f:fÍ
S€cre

")

'19'~

¡led tÎtf'~

Jfésident

---
