This will be discussed again on September 23, 1999, <br />at 7:00 P. M., no new notices. Commission is urged to make a site visitation. <br /> <br />Next on the agenda, a special exception for a sales office on Highway 67 for Moody Greer. <br />Board of Zoning Appeals had approved special exception at August 18, 1999 meeting and sent to <br />Plan Commission. Motion was made by Commissioner Young, second by Commissioner <br />Bennett to make a finding this request meets special exception for land use as presented. <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Banning Engineering represted a request for Tim Dunbar for a rezone from R-1 to R-2 for corner <br />lot on St. Clair and Bishop Street. The petitioner had previously obtained zoning for R-2 on <br />three lots on Carlisle Street for doubles. This would be same type as proposed previously. Rick <br />Lee, a neighbor, suggested to the Commission upgrades be made to one lane alley between the <br />doubles and upgrades to Bishop Street. Question: "Who owns alley?" Building Inspector Joe <br />Beikman said it is a platted alley and is maintained by the Town of Mooresville. Motion was <br />made by Commissioner McGuire, second by Commissioner Marshall to recommend to Town <br />Council to rezone R-1 to R-2 with recommendation Street Department take a look at upgrades to <br />the alley and Bishop Street due to improvements on properties. Motion carried 6-1. <br />Commissioner Pygrnan opposed. <br />This will come before Town Council at September 7, 1999 meeting at 6:30 P. M. <br /> <br />Tim Currens reported a letter had been sent to dog groomer, but now have a complaint on <br />husband's air-conditioning business at same address. Joe Beikman was unsure if the business <br />was prior to Buffer zone. Their presence is requested at September Plan Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Building Inspector Joe Beikman reported forty-five (45) penn its and one hundred fifty (150) <br />inspections. <br /> <br />Commissioner's Young and Marshall will be on Technical Review Committee for September. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, motion was made <br />by Commissioner Ehrhart to adjourn. <br /> <br />The next meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission will be Thursday, September 23, 1999, at <br />7:00 P.
