Bob Nordhoff, 569 Springmill Drive appeared before the Commission to see what he could do
about paying taxes on Lot 1 which does not have a home on it. He said it was too small to build
a home on. He also owns Lot 2 which his home is built on and he has a mini barn and a privacy
fence on Lot 1. Town Attorney Tim Currens told him the Commission does not have control
over how property is assessed. He said Mr. Nordhoff could file a PUD to combine both lots, but
he couldn't tell how this would be assessed. All residents would have to be notified for the
amendment and file for the Plan Commission. Mr. Nordhoff said he would check with his
homeowner's association and the assessor.

The Plan Commission received a letter reporting a dog grooming business on County Line Road
called Luv from Abuv and the sign can be seen from Highway 267. This property is in the buffer
zone - Attorney Tim Currens will send a letter.

Commissioner Bennett asked about Lawyer Trucking on Highway 67. He said it was a mess and
aren't they breaking Ordinances? Town attorney Tim Currens told the Plan Commission Lawyer
Trucking location was grandfathered in. It came in under a County Ordinance as a non-
conforming use.

Building Inspector Joe Beikrnan reported forty-one permits (41) and one hundred thirty eight
(138) inspections.

There being no further business to come before the Plan Commission at this time, a motion was
made to adjourn the meeting.

The next meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission will be on Thursday, August 26, 1999, at
7:00 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall.

ATTEST:

S~~ ~4Æ1

f/w/t1¿¿.Ik

1sident .

- -
